Here we have an extremely rare antique copy of The Geographical Journal Aug 1910 volume 36 number 2. Largely concerned with the Peary expedition to the Arctic. Amazing maps & advertising throughout. In good overall vintage condition, it has some corner folds, marks, edge loss and age related imperfections, but all commensurate with age. The x5 foldout maps & charts are near pristine. Outside of volume is approximately 6″ x 9.75″. I have many other rare, early magazines & books to be listed at a future date. Please study the photos carefully as they provide the best description. JOURNAL OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES OF THE STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA FOR THE SIXTEENTH SESSION, 1881. RULES OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES…. BILLS OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES…. All compended into one, THICK, THICK Volume. 1881, W J Johnston, Public Printer. (no other date noted). This may have been issued to only Delegates, so there are not many around. First part is the JOURNAL, very thick, with Joint Resolutions, Motions, actions, etc. The BILLS section is also very thick, with House Bills 1-263. (it appears to be all inclusive). MARBLED Paper Litho-over-thick-boards, with LEATHER FAUX-PANELED SPINE and leather corners. RED INSET with gilded letttering. SIZE: 9″ by 6 1/4″. Sections are numbered non-sequentially, so I’m not goint to count pages. CONDITION: LEATHER Spine & corners show much wear/chipping/missing parts. Abrasions, Corners are worn, one leather corner missing. All this is visible in pictures. Hinges are cracked, covers held on by strings. Interior otherwise is intact all as one, but book covers may need some binding tape. See pictures for more detailed visual description.
