1910’s German Art Deco Gilt Porcelain Sport Tray Set with Original Box. We are offering a very Rare…… A really bright and fun set of 4 sports-themed porcelain transfer, painted & Gilt trays. Made around the 1910’s-1920’s in Germany, still in their original box. These appear to be very rare as we can’t find any other examples. These are hand gilt and have brightly. Printed and painted scenes of three various sports. Which were rising to prominence with major. Interest in sports of the times. There are three different Art Deco period designs on 4 trays. One is Tennis themed, the other is Nautical, and one is Golf related. Edges all bear an Art Deco Cubist geometric pattern of color blocks. They are porcelain, and on the underside they are marked Germany. The numbers 314 impressed in them. One tray has the number 314 only. Condition: Trays are In good age-related condition.
